Impressed and inspired are the words that come to mind when I think of the fun kids’ movie I had the pleasure of seeing with my kids over the summer.
Turbo, an animated movie, was about a snail who had a vision, a dream to be a part of the Indy 500. To achieve this feat, he realized along the way that he needs help from his friends in order to succeed, and in turn, help them achieve their dreams too. The powerful theme throughout the movie was to hold onto your dreams. Turbo had a dream, and was not going to allow anyone to sway him from his goal. He persevered and trained even before he got his special powers. He ‘believed’ in himself. His positive energy transferred to his friends, allowing them all to achieve their dream. We all need more movies like this one. Our minds do not know the difference between what is imaginary and what is real. Our minds can’t distinguish between when you allow yourself to dream and visualize yourself being happy, compared to experiencing something real that produces happiness. Putting yourself in the position to do things you enjoy, with people who bring the best out of you, can bring all those positive feelings to the forefront of your mind. Overall changing your attitude on life that day. The more you practice doing this, the more positive you become. The more positive energy you have, people around you feel it and it transfers to them too. People will enjoy being around you. You can create this. Self Hypnosis, or meditating even once a day, will create all this new change in you. All you have to do is take the time (I am only talking about 10 to 20 minutes daily). Practice, practice, practice. Successful people will tell you they had to train, study AND practice in their field before fulfilling their dream of being either an entrepreneur, professional footballer, golfer or whatever goal they had in mind. Self Hypnosis allows us to relax and concentrate on what we want out of our life. So, go ahead, Dream Big!!
